The Northwest Genomics Center (NWGC) performs multiple QC steps on DNA and RNA samples prior to library prep and sequencing.
Concentration Validation
DNA samples are tested using the Quant-iT High Sensitivity dsDNA kit, using the Qubit Flex, to measure concentration. RNA samples are tested using the Quant-iT RNA kit to measure concentration and we require RIN/RQN’s reported by users.
Insert Size
All samples are run on the Femto for insert size analysis.
