Full-length RNA sequencing is a new, powerful tool for studying isoform expression and genomic structure, and its ability to generate high-quality full transcripts will complement and extend the utility of this dataset for the research community. Kinnex can easily be combined with globin depletion to further enhance the sensitivity of unique transcript detection. This technique provides a more complete view of the transcription landscape and can help to annotate complex genomic regions that are difficult to analyze with short-read sequencing.
