Abstract
We propose to use thermal imaging cameras to create opportunities for students to present hands-on demonstrations of the greenhouse effect and to visualize the radiative properties of the atmosphere to public audiences. This uses cutting-edge, low-cost infrared cameras that attach to tablets; additionally the tablets alone will be useful for student poster presentations at professional conferences and other outreach activities.
