Education

Graduate Program
CINTRAFOR is a center within the School of Environment and Forest Sciences (SEFS) in the College of the Environment at the University of Washington. Our primary focus is research and education through undergraduate, graduate, international, and outreach programs.
Graduate research, under the advisement of a CINTRAFOR faculty mentor, prepares students for careers in academia, education, public agencies, industry, the private sector, and nonprofit organizations.
CINTRAFOR graduate faculty admit students annually to start in the autumn quarter. Graduate students interested in forest economics and policy impacts, international marketing, technology developments, value-added forest products, and environmental assessment of wood and bioenergy products can be affiliated with CINTRAFOR for their graduate degree, either at the Master’s or PhD level.
