The Softwood Export Council (SEC) and the Center for International Trade in Forest Products (CINTRAFOR), University of Washington (UW) are engaged in various mass timber awareness activities in a number of countries. The 2024 Workshop in New Delhi, India

The Softwood Export Council (SEC) and the Center for International Trade in Forest Products (CINTRAFOR), in collaboration with Oregon State University (OSU), are organizing a one-day workshop in New Delhi, India to dive into the world of Mass Timber and explore its environmental benefits, and the common misconceptions and challenges associated with its adoption. The workshop would also focus on expert-led discussions on safety, durability, and practical applications.

Construction professionals, architects, policymakers, and sustainability enthusiasts are invited to attend the workshop, which aims to equip participants with the knowledge to assess the risks and opportunities of this innovative material.
